I compose and produce a great variety of works in the electronic medium. I've composed music for television, animation, film, dance, games, concerts, CDs and multimedia, my music is broadcast on radio and television, nationally and internationally, and is available on compact disc. With a wide stylistic range, a firm grounding in theoretical studies and a dramatic fine-art sensibility, I embrace modern and traditional harmonic technique with elements from world music, folk music, jazz, electronica and rock n' roll.

Project studios are common. What sets apart my service is the musicality, originality and experience I bring to your project. With careful attention to detail, a keen sense of form, and experience writing in many styles, I emphasize high production values and a unique musical craft which speaks to both heart and mind.

Narration, vocals and acoustic instruments can be recorded in the same studio where music for your project is composed, arranged and produced. In addition, compact disc mastering is now available. Your DVD, DAT tape, CD-R, MIDI or WAV file can be transferred to computer for digital editing and processing and recorded to compact disc. The CD master can then be used for duplication or for archiving your project.

If you need experienced input regarding MIDI-based electronic music studio concerns I can be of assistance. I offer help with issues such as connectivity of hardware and software, how to use specific programs, and also provide the expertise of a composer in regards to which features would be useful in new music products. I've consulted for Yamaha, Computers & Music and numerous individual musicians and composers in the Bay Area.

Recording services and compact disc mastering services are available by the hour. Creative fees for music composition and production are negotiable.
